Hey, I am Jan. I like to write code and publish it on github.
I mostly write in Ruby and share my experiences on my blog. I am currently working on a WebRTC based communication platform called palava. I also podcast from time to time, see rubykraut.

Much of the code that I've written is about making Ruby's irb more enjoyable. This also includes platform-independent access to your clipboard and a colorful terminal. Another project is an easy-to-use password manager that you should try out! If you like my open source work, please consider to endorse or tip me:

When I am not coding, I am probably at a post-rock show or in an electro club somewhere in Berlin. I also enjoy conversations about politics, economics and scocial topics. Oh, and I am a big fan of the fantastic Buffy, the Vampire Slayer! ________________________________________________________________
